Wow, thats great, I'm gonna update surely next week.
ReplyDeleteLots of thanks for the hard work.
I'm trying to get audio stereo input on the Hackberry but I don't find the way to do so. The problem is it's only recording Left channel, no signal on the right. I'm no linux expert, but I googled and tried everything and came up with no solution.
To record and see faders I simply use audacity and alsamixer, and it seems that there's actually 2 different channels. The control of input of the left channel works but the control of the right one is useless, it does nothing.
Thanks again for your help.
Hi,
ReplyDeleteThanks for creating this image. It contains basically everything one might need to get started with this board. For those who want to use Ethernet for SSH or similar, replace the first two lines in the /etc/network/interfaces file with the following:
auto lo
auto eth0
auto wlan3
Which should allow the Ethernet interface come up at boot and obtain an address via DHCP.
Thanks again for the image.
Thanks for those tips :)
DeleteSure, its a pleasure. Um, I wanted to ask: how did you get Java running on the Hackberry?
DeleteIts just "sudo apt-get install default-jdk" or " sudo apt-get install default-jre" command ....
DeleteHi,
DeleteGosh, ok. I'll try that later on. I was wondering about the armhf build available from here: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/jdk8-arm-downloads-2187472.html
any experience with that?
Thanks for the info
... nope .. I haven't tried tat ....
DeleteHi,
DeleteI tried it earlier on. It works just fine. One may just need to apt-get remove default-jdk, then setup the JAVA_HOME environment variable, as well as update the $PATH variable to point to whatever location this JDK is installed at..
Thanks again.... :)
ReplyDeleteA pleasure, sir! Are you still developing images for the Hackberry?
DeleteNope .. nor right now ... I am busy with some other works... :)
DeleteAh, ok. Wish you all the best with everything
